Our Counselling Team | Bridge of Allan counselling
Bridge of Allan Counselling is a collective of local counsellors serving the Stirling area. We have had a broad range of experience in working with adults, couples, young people, mental health, and bereavement.

Rhonda Gillespie MSc: Person-centred/Experiential Counsellor

Person-Centred - Emotion-Focused and Photo-therapy.

I became a counsellor because I like listening and talking to people, helping them with difficulties they may be experiencing. Obtaining the qualification of Masters in Counselling (MSc) brought out my natural love of research. My dissertation for this degree was titled Measuring the Usefulness of Photographic Metaphor in Brief Therapy. I am working towards the goal of seeing photography used as a standard communication tool in counselling and taught in schools to express yourself and your emotions in a healthy creative way. Would it seem strange to have a study book with reflective photographs alongside essays and research notes?

Marie Robertson: Integrative Counsellor

I am an integrative counsellor with substantial experience of working in mental health and working with students. I have worked mostly in the voluntary sector but currently work with employees providing advice and counselling. I am comfortable working with most issues we face as human beings and endeavour to provide a safe, confidential space where we can work together to find a way forward with any issues you bring.
My colleagues and I look forward to meeting with you, and if you would like more information please visit my website at mrcounselling.com

Denise Fiske: Person-centred Therapist and Supervisor

I am an experienced Person Centred Therapist and Supervisor who has just retired from the University of Stirling Student Counselling after fourteen years service.
I originally come from a social work/social care background and have worked with a variety of client groups, although latterly I worked in Mental Health. I have a particular interest in war veterans and the impact that this has on their family. I am also interested in complimentary therapy and I am a mindfulness practitioner
